The ScanCafe ‘Refer a Friend' program is open to all registered ScanCafe users and rewards both the referring customer and the receiving email address for using ScanCafe. When you complete the 'Refer a Friend' form, ScanCafe will send an email to your friends or family members on your behalf, inviting them to register on ScanCafe and submit their paper prints, slides and negatives for scanning. The referring user will receive a 10% revenue-share of the new user’s first order and the new user receives a $10.00 credit towards the first order, in conjunction with the detailed terms of the program below.
New ScanCafe Customers
Users that RECEIVE a ‘Refer a Friend’ email from a current ScanCafe customer will be awarded a $10 discount off the first shopping cart when placing an order for scanning paper prints, slides and/or negatives. The $10 discount is provided to the user in the form of a discount code within the body of the ‘Refer a Friend’ email. To redeem the $10 credit, users MUST enter the discount code within the appropriate discount code field (“Add Discount”) when placing the order and with the following limitations:
- The discount code is valid for the FIRST order only and expires AFTER final checkout of the first order.
- The discount code can be used only once and is inactivated upon redeeming the credit
- Each ‘Refer a Friend’ recipient is provided a UNIQUE discount code, redeemable only by the email address that received the ‘Refer a Friend’ email.
- Discounts and discount codes are to be provided to NEW members that place orders with ScanCafe.
ScanCafe reserves the right to disable any and all discount codes at ScanCafe’s sole discretion and for any reason, including the attempted unauthorized redemption of new customer incentives by current customers.
ScanCafe Users Referring New Members:
ScanCafe users that refer friends and family members will be rewarded 10% of the first shopping cart for all new member referrals that place an order with ScanCafe. To qualify for the reward, the new member receiving the ‘Refer a Friend’ email must successfully complete the ScanCafe registration process AND place an order for scanning services to the conditions below:
- The 10% revenue-share reward is based upon the estimated number of paper prints, slides and negatives in the new, referred member’s first order. Shipping and handling, taxes and non-scanning services fees are not included in determining the revenue-share amount.
- The 10% revenue-share reward is payable ONLY when the new, referred member uses the ‘Refer a Friend’ discount code that was included in the ‘Refer a Friend’ email AND registers using the same email address that was received the ‘Refer a Friend’ message.
- Referring users MUST be registered ScanCafe members (regardless of placing an order with ScanCafe)
- Only one ‘Refer a Friend’ reward is payable per each new member placing an order
- ‘Refer a Friend’ rewards are paid ONLY through PayPal into the specified PayPal account of each qualifying, referring ScanCafe customer. The PayPal account details are to be provided during the ‘Refer a Friend’ process. ScanCafe is not responsible for incomplete or inaccurate PayPal account information.
- ‘Refer a Friend’ rewards are paid on a monthly basis by the 15th of each month for each qualifying, referring ScanCafe customer
‘Refer a Friend’ is an incentive program rewarding ScanCafe customers for each NEW member placing an order with ScanCafe. ‘Refer a Friend’ rewards do NOT apply for referred friends or family members that have already registered with ScanCafe, regardless of the email associated with the account. In the event the referred friend or family member receives multiple ‘Refer a Friend’ emails, the referring member that receives the 10% reward will be based upon the discount code used by the new, referred member.
When a referred friend successfully registers with ScanCafe and places the first order using the appropriate discount code, the referring member will be notified via email of the transaction and the amount to be paid to the associated PayPal account. Payment will be made to the referring customer’s PayPal account upon completion of the first order AND receipt of the new member’s paper prints, slides and/or negatives.
ScanCafe customers can refer an unlimited number of new members and there is no limit to the number of reward incentives that a single ScanCafe customer accrues. ‘Refer a Friend’ requests do NOT expire, although the reward is contingent upon the placement of the first order with the appropriate discount code (as stated above).
Privacy: Any email address you provide through the 'Tell a Friend' program will be used only to send an email message on your behalf at the time you enter or select it and click on the 'tell a friend' button.
ScanCafe reserves the right to cancel or suspend this program at any time and at the sole discretion of ScanCafe, including modification of the rewards and incentives associated with the program and the redemption and reimbursement of all rewards.
