All customer orders are tracked through ScanCafe’s world class proprietary process flow, based on advanced bar code technology. ScanCafe can tell you the exact location of your precious images, anywhere on the globe, whether they are with UPS, in their own secure bin awaiting processing or with a technician getting scanned. We take the safety and security of your valuable memories very seriously and we have built an absolutely secure order fulfillment process to make sure that your photos are always safe. We are so confident in our process that we offer the industry’s only shipping guarantee.
You can check the status and location of your images at anytime by logging in to your accountor by simply calling our Customer Service team at 866-745-0392. When you log in to your account, you will see an automated Status Bar, that shows you every step your order takes in the process.

Your precious photos are packaged with 5 levels of protection during transport:
- Individual orders wrapped in heavy duty plastic
- Then placed in a reinforced carton
- The carton is wrapped in plastic
- The plastic wrapped cartons are placed in an international, ruggedized air freight container
- The entire air freight container is strapped down to a pallet and wrapped in shrink wrap – the pallet is tracked via barcode anywhere in the world
Our customer’s precious photographs are inspected and then securely packaged in large containers specifically designed for international air transport. ScanCafe’s large order volume allows us to use rugged containers specifically designed to carry one ton of air cargo per shipment. Further, these containers are specific to air cargo and fit in units in the cargo holds of 747 aircraft – so there are never any other boxes or pallets placed on top of our containers. None of our customer’s priceless memories are shipped individually and all orders are packaged in 5 layers, each more resilient than the next. This consolidation into large containers ensures safety, security and ease of tracking.
